Sir, With due regard I want to say that In rabari/rayaka society dowry is taken by girls side not by boy side. This fact should be notified so that all the courts may use it as guideline for decisions. Girls parents are given money to fix engagements & marriages. Thus given money is extra from what is given to girl for ornaments & gift. That is known.... stridhan... Given money is for only use of parents of girls so marriage in rabari /rayaka society has become a business. So in this regard section 498 is not effective as this section is used by girls & their parents to exploit boy's side as all the laws are mostly prone to ladies. Kindly new amendments are very necessary to give justice to boy side. Natha-Prath is a good tradition of the society. As per this traditiona/rite no girl or boy need any degree for separation & remarry any one of his/her choice. The society can not deny it. This tradition is accepted in our society. When a girls leaves her husband, parents of girls returns all the jewellery to her previous husband so that he also can do his own arrangement for re- marriage(Nath-Prath). Previous husband is given compensation by new husband of the girl. In such way no one have to go court for any divorce degree etc. People are free from cases, courts, money & time loss. This Natha-prath needs government notification & form of law. In present it is very impossible to give fast justice. So social panchayat given final power to dispose of all the cases if any disput is there. In social case of rabari/rayaka society , courts procedures does not have any importance as all the matters are settled mutually. Kindly you are requested for law reforms for fast, safe,tension free time & fast justice & Nath-prath should be taken as evidence in all the courts. Nath- Prath gives man or woman everyone equal right of husband/wife to both sides. Kindly look into the matter so that peoples may feel more safe & proud & boys side may be saved from sufferings due to misuse by girls side.
